Performance Data Key Stage 2 (Year 6)

Due to the COVID pandemic, the children in year 6 did not sit their end of  Key Stage 2 examinations. As an academy we made professional predictions based upon the following:

  • Internal assessments – using PiXL assessments. This enabled us to have a national comparison with other primary schools.
  • Quality of written work in books across Maths and English – this also included evaluating these skills in other areas of the curriculum.
  • Home learning – including work shared through portfolios.

Performance Data Key Stage 1 (Year 2)

  • Quality of work in books Maths, English and all other subjects.
  • Internal moderation – including cross-site moderation.
  • Home learning – including work shared through portfolios.

Phonics check

Based on professional predictions through regular phonics checks through the academic year, we achieved 62% for year 1.

By the end of year 2, 93% have achieved the Phonics standard.

GLD prediction

The GLD is based on the following for the children in reception 2020-2021:

  • Close monitoring of the children using the EYFS framework.
  • Moderation both internal and external through the Autumn and Spring term.
  • This is based on the new EYFS curriculum framework.

The professional prediction we have made for 2020-2021 is 77% of children having a ‘Good level of Development’.
