Phonics check

Based on professional predictions through regular phonics checks through the academic year, we achieved 64% for Year 1.

By the end of Year 2, 80% have achieved the Phonics standard.

EYFS

GLD (Good Level of Development)

The GLD is for children in reception 2022-2023: 70%

Children were assessed by:

• Close monitoring of the children using the EYFS framework.
• Moderation both internal and external through the Autumn and Spring term.
• This is based on the new EYFS curriculum framework.
