Phonics check
The phonics check takes place in June for children in Year 1.
Those children who do not achieve the pass mark in Year 1 will retake the test in June when they are in Year 2.
June 2025 - 86% of the children in Year 1 achieved the phonics pass mark.
June 2025 - 85% of the children in Year 2 achieved the phonics pass mark.
EYFS
GLD (Good Level of Development)
The GLD is for children in reception 2024-2025: 70%
Children were assessed by:
- Close monitoring of the children using the EYFS framework.
- Moderation both internal and external through the Autumn and Spring term.
- This is based on the new EYFS curriculum framework.
Multiplication Tables Check (MTC)
The MTC is taken in June for Year 4 pupils only.
The check consists of 25 questions, based upon multiplication tables up to 12.
June 2025 - The percentage of pupils achieving 80% (20 out of 25 questions answered correctly) is: 69%
June 2025 - The percentage of pupils achieving 100% is: 37%
