School council

Intent Statement

Our role is to help make decisions about how the school is run and take on projects that support the children’s learning and development, such as organising charity events, representing the school at outside experiences or ensuring the school is environmentally friendly.

 

Student Council 2024 - 25

Charlie, Casper, Freddie, Miah-Grace, Poppy, Mason, Jack and Martha. 

Student Council 2023-24

Student Council (with the help of Miss Cupit) organised for the local police team to come in to speak to all the school. They even brought their car!

Student Council organised 'I'M A TEACHER, GET ME OUT OF HERE!' where the teachers had to do some horrible challenges based on the children's votes. Miss Cupit and Mr Bothamley were forced to drink a horrible smoothie made of mud and leaves from the garden while Miss Hattigan and Mrs Marsh were made to put their hands in wiggly worms while blindfolded... Only the children know if they were real or not!

The Student Council's healthy breaktime tuckshop was a huge success! 

Student Council hosted a fantastic quiz show where our fantastic teachers were put on the spot and asked some super tricky questions... It was close between Mr Bothamley, Miss Cupit and Mrs Curtis but Mrs Curtis took the win for Wrens. Miss Cupit won the best dressed for coming to school as a prime number! 

Student Council took their Maths quiz very seriously!
